The difference between dochira (どちら) and dore (どれ)
Dochira (どちら) is used when choosing, or having someone choose, one of two things (example 1,2,3). Dotchi（どっち）is a shortened colloquial form.
Example
1) うどんとそばと、どちらが好きですか？
Romaji：Udon to soba to, dochiraga sukidesuka?
