日文あそこ和あちら只是相差一個字，有什麼分別呢？翻譯成中文是”在那裡”

日文あそこ指說話者和聆聽者都能看得到的更遠的地方，そこ指說話者和聆聽者都能看得到的較遠的地方，ここ指說話者和聆聽者都能看得到的較近的地方，我們來看下以下例如

Example
1) 地下鉄の入り口は、あそこです。
中文:地下鐵的入口在那裡。（說話者和聆聽者都看得到的更遠地方，如果說話者和聆聽者都看得到的較遠地方，可以用そこ）
English: The subway entrance is over there.

2) あそこの席があいていますよ。
中文: 那裡的位子空著哦。
English: That seat is open.

3) あそこにいるのが、私の妹です。
中文: 那裡是我妹妹。
English: The person over there is my younger sister.

あそこ還可以指在之前的會話中被提及到的。

Example
1) 駅前の喫茶店を知っていますか？あそこで4時に会いましょう。
中文: 車站前的咖啡店你知道嗎？我們在那裡4點見面吧！（說話者和聆聽者都知道的咖啡店）
English: Do you know the coffee shop in front of the station? Let’s meet there at four o’clock.

2) 来月から北海道ですね、あそこは寒いから、気をつけてください。
中文: 下個月要去北海道，那裡很冷哦，要多注意身體哦。（說話者知道對方下個月去北海道）
English: You’ll be in Hokkaido starting next month, right? It’s cold there so please be careful.

日文あちら較あそこ更為禮貌，あちら還可以指方向，更有距離感的地方

Example
1) ここが会議室です。先生のお席はあちらです。
中文: 這裡是會議室，導師的座位在這裡。
English: This is the conference room. Your seat is over there, professor.

2) あちらに居る方が、この会社の社長さんです。
中文: 那位先生是公司的社長。
English: The gentleman over there is the president of our company.

3) 今から九州へ行きます。あちらに着いたら電話をします。
中文: 現在去九州，我到了那裡後給你打電話。
English: I’m going to Kyushu now. I’ll call when I get there.

日文あちら還可以更禮貌的指“那個人”，我們看以下例句

Example
1) こちらは石川さんです。あちらは林さんです。
中文: 這位是石川先生，那位是林小姐。
English: This is Mr. Ishikawa. That is Ms. Hayashi over there.

2) あちらはどなたですか？
中文: 那位是？
English: Who is that person over there?
