Japanese Teaching Approach

At the first, I want to check each students Japanese levels. Then I will slowly and gently, fun to teach/support their studies. I will be focus to what student want to learn/study by face to face.

I have experienced about teaching Japanese language for Korean students and Vietnamese students in my past. Although, I sometimes help to teach or check my friend’s Japanese mistakes, too!

Ask ERI Teacher Japanese Learning Questions

ERI先生へ「帰る」と「戻る」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

ERI先生’s Answer:

帰るというのは出発地点、又は住んでいる場所まで戻るという意味。
戻るというのは「帰る」に対して必ず出発地点まで戻る事ではないという意味。

ERI先生へ「どこか行きますか」と「どこかに行きますか」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

ERI先生’s Answer:

どこか、には必ず目的（場所）がある質問。
どこかの「か」には疑問の助詞という形で場所などがより不特定、又は不明確であり広範囲な疑問として使われます。
ですので厳密には「すごく楽しかった」が正確な日本語ですが口語では両方とも使われます。

ERI先生へ 「山に登る」と「山を上がる」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

ERI先生’s Answer:

山に登るの「に」には目的地を表す意味があり、目的地を表す動詞になる。
山を上がるの「上がる」とは位置変化全般を示し、使われる場面が限られる場合に用いる。
