We are a group of native Japanese tutors. We have passion of teaching with teaching certificates and teaching experiences at Japanese language schools, we hope to bring that joy of learning to all students. Our personal Japanese tutoring is completely personalized and designed to meet the student’s specific needs. Whenever possible, we use the student’s own curriculum to maximize the efficiency of the student’s learning. Beyond the immediate objective of helping the student with the material that’s unclear, we use those challenges to identify and fill in the foundational understanding that is missing and impeding the student’s understanding and confidence. We love teaching Japanese and are very patient and flexible. We hope students find learning Japanese is fun and interesting.

先生へ「～から」と「～ので」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

先生’s Answer:
どちらも原因・理由の接続助詞
「から」→主観的な判断によるもの。感情的で主観的な判断理由という感じで用いられる。さらに２つの事柄に主観的に因果関係を持たせる。また、推量・命令・勧誘など話し手の主観に属する文末のあとに用いられやすい。
Ex)　
「危ないからやめなさい」危ないという判断は話しての主観であり、判断は人によって異なる。
「ので」→因果関係を客観的に描写するもの客観的な判断によるもの。冷静で合理的な判断というような感じで用いられる。
Ex)
「暴風雨が発令されたので、運動会は中止になった」話しての主観的判断によらなくても、明らかに因果関係がそこにみられる場合に用いられることが多い。

先生へ「おいしいです」と「おいしそうです」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

先生’s Answer:

「おいしそうです」→It looks delicious.（想像）

「おいしいです」→It’s delicious.（現在）
ex)
（クッキーを見て）→おいしそうです。　目で見て想像できるような状態。

（クッキーを食べながら）→おいしいです。食べ物を食べている時に使用する（現在）

先生へ 「部長はベトナムへ出張している」と「部長はベトナムへ出張しました」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

先生’s Answer:

「部長はベトナムへ出張している」(現在進行形）→ Department manager is on a business trip in Vietnam.

「部長はベトナムへ出張しました」（過去形）→Department manager was on a business trip in Vietnam.

私の場合、日本（日本本土）とは異なる地域で生まれ育ったため、違う視点で日本文化というものを記述する。日本の中には、大和民族、アイヌ民族、琉球民族など様々な集団が存在する。日本語や日本史、文化が存在するように、例えば琉球/沖縄には、琉装や琉球語、琉球料理、琉球史など、その集団の持つ様々な歴史的背景があり、その中で育まれてきたものがある。勿論、それは琉球/沖縄に限らずアイヌ民族にも同じことが言えるだろう。日本の中に別の民族が存在し、多様性があることは悪いことではなく、良いことだ。日本という国は海で囲まれた小さな国だが、それぞれに深い歴史があり、異なる文化があることが日本の面白さであり、それこそが日本の特徴だと思う。
