Hi! My name is Kae, I’m from Tokyo in Japan. I have passion of teaching Japanese language and cultural with Japanese lover students.I have been to Fiji for studying English. At that time I realized the most important thing in learning new language is to find a way that motivate you the most. Some may prefer talking to more people instead of just reading textbook, some may prefer just using Apps to practice. When you are having fun, you don’t want to quit. And you will be learning faster than traditional methods. So I will teach Japanese in a flexible way that suits you the most.

And Also I want to share interesting Japanese cultural, Japan travel and Japanese food with you in Japanese.Let’s enjoy studying Japanese with me!

みなさんこんにちわ！私は“Hong Kong Japanese Tutor”のKAEです。私は色々な国の人と会話をするのが大好きなので、日本語を教えながら会話をする事にとてもやりがいを感じています。

私は、以前フィジーに語学留学をしていた事もあり、そこでどうしたら語学をいかに早く簡単に楽しく学べるかを常に考えました。そして出た答えは、その人に合った勉強方法をする事！簡単な用で難しいです。私と一緒にあなたにあった勉強方法を見つけましょう！そして、それに合った勉強方法で楽しく勉強できたらなと思っています！

Japanese Teaching Approach

I don’t have much experience in teaching Japanese but I like learning other languages and talking with people from different countries.

I have been to Fiji for studying English. At that time I realized the most important thing in learning new language is to find a way that motivate you the most. And you will be learning faster than traditional methods. So I will teach Japanese in a flexible way that suits you the most.

It is little different if you are studying Japanese for exam or daily conversation because Japanese has 敬語 and 普通語.

If you want to learn Japanese to communicate with Japanese friends, I think you don’t always need a textbook. What important for you is to practice on speaking and hearing. This is a quick and natural way of learning language.

Anyway I’d like to practice with you guys in way making your leaning process enjoyable!

まずは生徒の目的やレベル合わせてやりかたを変える。

教科書、自分で作ったいくつかの教科書、動画、絵を利用して授業を進める。

カエ先生’s Answer:

これらはすべて逆接の接続詞です。イメージ的には【～だが】は新聞など硬い文体で使われる。

• 今日はとても天気が良い。だが明日は雨である。
• 今日はとても天気が良い。けれども明日は雨である。
• 僕は学校へ行ったが友達は学校に来なかった。
• 僕は学校へ行ったしかし友達は学校に来なかった。

「～しかし」、「～が」、は前文と後文の食い違いを強調する。

「～だが」、「～けれども」、は前文の延長線上に後文が来ないことを意味する。

これらはすべて前文と後文の対比，反対である。

「～しかし」、「～だが」は「より実は」という意味が含まれている。

カエ先生へ 「～どうでしょうか」と「～どうですか」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

カエ先生’s Answer:

「～どうでしょうか」のほうがより丁寧な言葉である。

目上の人や会社の上司や先輩、正式な場などで使う。

「～どうですか」は丁寧であるが、「～どうでしょうか」よりかは丁寧ではない。

カエ先生へ 「忙しかったです」と「忙しかったでした」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

カエ先生’s Answer:

忙しかった＝過去形

忙しい（原形）忙しかった（過去形）

よって、忙しかったでした。

普段使わない日本語である。

日本の文化であるお地蔵さんについて紹介します。

お地蔵さんとは、仏教世界の「地蔵菩薩(じぞうぼさつ)」のことです。この地蔵菩薩と民間の道祖神信仰(どうそしんしんこう)が結びついて、いたるところに安置されるようになったのです。

その中でも私の地元である高岩寺とげぬき地蔵について紹介します。縁起によると、慶長（1596～1615）のころ小石川の田付氏の妻が病気になると、夢のなかに延命地蔵が現れて印像を授けたので、妻女がこの印像で1万体の捺印をして隅田川に流したところ、病気が治ったという。その後、正徳年間（1711～16）毛利(もうり)家の女中が誤って針を飲み込んだとき、地蔵尊の印像を水で飲ませたところ、すぐに針を吐き出したという。以後、「とげぬき地蔵」の霊名があがり、広く厄除(よ)け・招福の地蔵として信仰されるようになった。大祭（1・5・9月の24日）のほか、4の日の縁日には多くの参拝者でにぎわう。日本の中でも1つの観光スポットであり、おじいちゃんお婆ちゃんの原宿と言われるほど、お年寄りの方々がたくさん訪れる。
