Hello. My name is ERI. I am a native Japanese teacher based in Macau. I have over 8 years of experience teaching Japanese. I was teaching Japanese at the university in Beijing and Shanghai, I was also teaching Japanese at Japanese language school in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. I have rich teaching experiences especially for Japanese oral speaking lessons, Japanese grammar lessons and JLPT exams preparation lessons. I love cooking by the way, if you would like to learn Japanese cooking, I would love to teach.

I can teach all levels of Japanese. I am passionate about my students’ progress of learning. My classes are very casual and fun. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions. I look forward to seeing you ^^

みなさん、こんにちは！ 私は大阪から来たERIです。中国語と英語、そして簡単な広東語が話せます。以前中国本土の北京と上海の大学や、香港、マカオまた台湾の日本語学校で、子供から大人の方に日本語を教えました。特に日本語会話レッスン、日本語文法、また日本語能力試験対策レッスンなど経験豊富です。趣味は料理ですので、もし日本料理クッキングにご興味がありましたら、一緒に日本料理を作りませんか？

みなさんが日本語を勉強する目的に合わせて、リラックスした雰囲気で、楽しく日本語を教えます。みなさんに会えるのを楽しみにしています^^

Japanese Teaching Approach

Following the textbooks, and customize the lesson for individual needs.

For the beginner students, I will focus on Japanese language INPUT which I think is quite important, I will use the teaching materials such as objects, illustrations, audio medias through the lessons to make the lessons more interesting and fun. You will not feel bored in my lessons.

Then I will focus on the OUTPUT by helping you repeating and practice the Japanese words and sentences, I will explain the difficulties first until you fully understand, I believe when you understand clearly then you will memorize and become confident of speaking.

I will bring some topics which you are interested, and focus on the oral speaking practice and correcting your pronunciation and intonation.

I think for the most Japanese learners the most difficult part of learning Japanese is pronunciation, many students have the listening difficulties of 清音(voiceless sound) and 濁音(voiced sound), 促音(Sokuon) and 長音(long vowel), which are not in Chinese. I think I will slowly but surely helping you improve it.

まず「導入」が大切です。実物やイラスト、音などの教材を効果的に使って、ゲーム感覚で「楽しい」「分かりやすい」と感じてもらえる授業をします。

次に「練習」を繰り返すことで、理解➡自信に繋がります。学習者のレベルに合わせた楽しそうなトピックを取り入れ、発音矯正もしながらどんどん会話ができるようにサポートします。

多くの日本語の学習者さんにとって、日本語学習の一番の難点は「発音」だと思います。例えば清音と濁音の区別や、促音、長音です。耳がこれらの聞き分けに慣れていないので、時間をかけて丁寧に教えるように心がけています。
