Hong Kong Native Japanese Tutor

Hello everyone. My name is CHIHOMI (千帆美)from FUKUOKA Japan, 千帆美 is the image of the sea with a thousand sails. I lived in Fukuoka, Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo in Japan, joined Travel Community at University, I am familiar about different areas in Japan and cultural. I love Japanese cooking, I may share some useful information in our Japanese lesson. I was working in Japan as HR and Secretary for 5 years.

My Japanese lessons are mainly in Japanese, for adults Japanese lesson, I will focus on conversation lesson, correct your pronunciation, teach and train you speak natural Japanese. For kids Japanese lesson, I will teach the kids through interesting activities, such as singing, using flash cards to obtain the children’s attentions. Now I am learning Cantonese, I understand your Japanese learning feelings, I will help you improve your Japanese level.

福岡県出身のCHIHOMIと申します。私の名前は、船の帆が千枚なびいている海をイメージして名付けられました。

日本では、福岡、京都、大阪、東京に住んだことがあります。また、大学時代に旅行サークルに所属していたので、日本の色んな地域・文化のお話ができます。料理が好きで、日本食は一通り作れるのでコツなどもお話しできると思います。日本での仕事は、大学卒業後に人事・秘書として約5年間働きました。

私の授業は、日本語のみで進めます。
■ 大人向け：フリートークでは、日本人の自然な発音・言葉選びをお伝えします。日本語での会話が楽しくなるようサポートします。
■ 子ども向け：絵カードや歌などで、楽しみながら日本語に親しみ学んでもらいます。

私自身も現在、広東語と英語を学んでいるので、学ぶ人の気持ちがよく分かります。一人一人に寄り添いながらレッスンをしたいと思います。

Japanese Teaching Approach

生徒さんの興味のあるもの、目標に沿って進めていければと思います。
教科書を主にですが、読み書きよりも、話す聞くほうが需要だと思いますので、そこに力をいれたいです。なので、授業は日本語で行いたいと思っています。もちろん説明すべき点は英語でします。
また、単語カードや、動画等も取り入れます。

Ask CHIHOMI Teacher Japanese Learning Questions

CHIHOMI先生へ「～に関して」と「～について」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

CHIHOMI先生’s Answer:
この二つの意味は同じですが、「～に関して」は、少し硬いイメージで、ビジネスシーンや資料などの書き言葉として使われます。

また、二者択一の話題の場合、～についてを使うほうが好ましいです。
Ex) ○：来月、東京に行くか、大阪に行くかについて友達と話した。
×：来月、東京に行くか、大阪に行くかに関して友達と話した

CHIHOMI先生へ「せっかく」と「わざわざ」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

CHIHOMI先生’s Answer:
意図的にあえて何かをするという点に関しては、二つとも同じです。
しかし、せっかくの場合は、後に続くことが良いとされています。
わざわざは、後に続くことが、実際はしなくてよかったこと、困難や労力を伴ったものと考えられます。」

Ex) せっかくなので、いただきます。
わざわざ買う必要はなかったのに。

CHIHOMI先生へ「きみ」と「あなた」と「あんた」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

CHIHOMI先生’s Answer:
「きみ」
ビジネスシーンにおいて、上司が部下に対して使います。その逆は失礼に当たります。年上の人が年下に対して使うと覚えておけば問題ないです。

「あなた」
どのようなシーンでも、誰にでも使うことができますが、あえて使うことは少ないかと思います。大体の場合は、名前で呼ぶことが多いです。

「あんた」
親が子どもに使う家庭もあるかと思います。親しい人や、目下の人に対して使います、少し強い表現に聞こえるかもしれません。関西では聞くことがしばしばあるかもしれません。

私は日本の温泉がとても好きなので、少しそのことについて話します。海外にも温泉はあると思いますが、日本は日本らしさがあると思います。温泉が湧いている場所が観光地として親しまれているのは、日本も海外も同じだと思います。海外においては、温泉はレジャーのような感じに私にはとらえられます。自然の中で、温泉が湧いているところに、極力人の手を加えない状態で、温泉に入るというのが一般的で、それは日本人にとっては、お風呂というよりも、川や池といった感じかと思います。

きちんと、整備されて施設化された場所でも、日本のようにリラックスして、ゆっくりお湯に浸かるというよりは、プールのような感じではないかなと思います。また、日本では基本的に裸で入り、海外の水着を着て入る習慣とは大きく異なります。

これは、宗教が関係しているものと思います。このように、日本と海外の温泉の違いは、環境や宗教が大きく関係しいていると思います。日本には、素晴らしい温泉が全国各地にありますので、日本を訪れた際には、ぜひ味わってみてください。

I love Japanese hot springs so I will introduce more about it. I think there are hot springs worldwide as well, but I think hot spring in Japan is different than those in the other countries. The places where hot springs surrounded are popular as tourist destinations, no matter in Japan or in the overseas. From my point of view, hot springs in the other countries make me feel like leisure. It is common for the Japanese to enter a hot spring without touching people as much as possible. However, I feel the hot springs in the overseas more like a river or a pond than a bath.

Even well-equipped facilities hot springs, I think it’s more like a pool rather than hot springs, just soaking in hot water slowly, but not relaxing in hot springs in Japan. Also, the Japanese are naked in hot springs in Japan, which is very different from the people who are wearing a swimsuit in the hot springs overseas.

I think this is related to religion. I feel the difference between hot springs in Japan and overseas is largely related to the environment and religion. There are many wonderful hot springs all over the Japan, if you visit Japan, please enjoy hot springs in Japan.
