Hi, I’m Ayaka from Malaysia. For my Japanese education background, I studied under the Japanese education system from kindergarten until secondary school while in college I’m pursuing a degree in Marketing in Malaysia. I know how to speak, read and write English. Also, I know how to communicate in Cantonese, but I can’t read and write in it. So I hope my multi-language skills can support my student’s study and enable them to understand more deeply about it.

I would love to share my knowledge of the Japanese language and also culture to everyone. Let’s learn something new together and hope to see you in my class^^

AYAKA先生へ「嬉しい」と「楽しい」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

AYAKA先生’s Answer:
嬉しいと楽しいは、どちらも自分の感情を表現するときに使う言葉です。

「嬉しい」という言葉は、誰かに何か良い事をしてもらった時や何かを達成した時に使う喜びを表現する言葉です。英語でいうと、gladやhappyです。

「楽しい」という言葉は、ウキウキした気分の事を表現する言葉です。英語でいうと、funです。

AYAKA先生へ 「かわいい」と「かわいらしい」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

AYAKA先生’s Answer:
「かわいい」という言葉は、自分より小さくて弱そうな物や人を愛らしいと感じた時に使う言葉です。

「かわいらしい」という言葉は、物や人を愛らしく感じたり見えたりした時に使う言葉です。

AYAKA先生へ 「家族と公園へ行く」と「家族で公園へ行く」の違いについて説明してくれませんか?

AYAKA先生’s Answer:
「家族と公園へ行く」というセンテンスは、家族の誰かが誰と一緒に公園に行くのかを他人に話す時に使います。

「家族で公園へ行く」というセンテンスは、家族の誰かが他人に家族だけで公園に行くことを話す時に使います。

お正月に、私たちはおせち料理というお祝いの料理を食べます。おせち料理には様々なおかずがあり、その一つ一つのおかずに意味があります。例えば、栗きんとんは金運に良い、伊達巻きは巻物に似ているため知識を増やすのに良いと考えられています。

おせち料理の他に私たちは初詣に行きます。初詣とは、新しい年に初めて神社に行くことを指します。私たちは神社に行き、新しい年のお願い事をし、お願い事が終わったら、おみくじというものを引く人もいます。おみくじは、その年が良いのか悪いのかを見せてくれるくじの事を指します。
