Hello! I am MITSUKO of “Hong Kong Japanese Tutor” My hometown is Tokyo. I have lived in Hong Kong for 28 years. I work for Japanese companies and have more than 25 years of practical experience, including customer service, online marketing, travel, trade business. My hobbies are music in general and Tokyo Edo historical culture. I got acquainted with foreign people for work and hobbies.

I wish I could help the students who are interested in learning Japanese and Japan cultural as much as possible. I will not only teach the students through the text-book, but also use the vocabulary cards and the other teaching media to help enhance the efficiency in the students’ Japanese study, and help the students to understand the special Japan cultural within a certain lesson time. I will follow your learning pace and teach you “Practical Japanese” which you can use in your daily life conversation. I will give the lessons to students in Cantonese.

はじめまして。私は”Hong Kong Japanese Tutor”のMITSUKOです。日本の出身地は東京です。香港に来てかれこれ28年が経ちました。私は日系企業に勤め顧客サービス、オンラインマーケティング、旅客、貿易業務等、25年以上の実務経験を持ちます。趣味は、音楽全般と東京江戸歴史文化です。仕事や趣味を通じて外国の方々と知り合うなかで、日本に興味がある人のため、少し力になることができれば嬉しく感じております。そして、日本の良さをもっと知って欲しい、日本にもっと興味を持って欲しいと考えております。

why did you start Japanese tutoring?

Many Hong Kong people like Japan and feel interested in learning Japanese, I as a native Japanese living in Hong Kong would like to share more Japanese cultural, teach Japanese language, Japan history and custom in Hong Kong, I wish I could become a bridge between Japan and Hong Kong.

日本の文化や歴史、習慣等をより正しく知って欲しいと思っています。私が得た経験から、日本と香港の架橋になれたらと、思っています。

Has rich Japanese teaching experiences, what do you think the most difficult part for Hong Kong people to learn Japanese? And as a private Japanese teacher how do you help the students to learn Japanese better?

I found for most Hong Kong students, Japanese pronunciation is the most difficult part since I started Japanese tutoring, because there are many Kanji Chinese characters in Cantonese, but pronounce differently in Japanese. And many students’ Japanese intonation may get influenced by their native language Cantonese. My one on one private Japanese tutoring will help to correct their Japanese pronunciation, help them to speak accurate and sounds as native Japanese.

香港の学生が日本語を学ぶ点で一番難しいのは、アクセントです。広東語には、漢字に声調があるため、日本語の言葉にも広東語特有の声調がつきやすいものです。個人指導によって、標準アクセントや、きれいなイントネーションを学び、美しい日本語で表現できるようにしましょう。

MITSUKO先生へ「お世話になります」と「お世話になりました」と「お世話になっております」の違いについて教えていただけないでしょうか?

MITSUKO先生’s Answer:

「お世話に＋なります」と「お世話に＋なっております」は、単純に、時間経過点から違いをとらえる事ができます。
● これから何らかの世話になる場合は
「（今後）お世話になります」
初対面でない場合の「お世話になります」は、
「今回の件についてお世話になります」という意図で使われます。
● すでに世話になっている場合は
「（現在）お世話になっております」
という違いがあります。
また、「－おります」　この、「おる」は時間の継続を表し、あわせて謙譲語であり、自分を低く表現することによって、相手を敬う気持ちを表しています。
例題「いつもお世話になっております」
というニュアンスで使います。

「お世話になりました」
● お（世話に）になりました。
時間経過では過去の出来事に対する敬意を表したもの。
通常は
お（動詞の連用形/サ変動詞）になりました。（過去）
が、一般的です。
例文　長い間お世話になりました。
　　　いろいろとお世話になりました。

「～により」と「によって」は、ほとんど同じでです。
「～により」＋動詞
「～によって」＋動詞
後に動詞が続きます

A（原因）による/により/によって B（結果）と使います。
ただし、「による」だけはBに体言（名詞・代名詞）を使う必要があります。
台風による大雨。
台風により大雨が降った。
台風よって大雨が降った。

日本人のお風呂文化
日本人は世界の中でも特にお風呂好きで、日本独特の気候と風土によって育まれた、日本文化の一つです。
日本は、周りを海に囲まれているため雨が多く、高温多湿な環境で暮らしていると、少しでもさっぱりしたいと水や湯を浴びる文化が育ったと言われています。また、日本には全国的に有名な温泉地が沢山あります。温泉の成分や効き目によって、温泉を目当てにした旅行者のための宿や旅館も生まれました。江戸時代の中頃、自宅にお風呂のない人達が利用する銭湯が増え、単に体を洗う場所ではなく、社交や娯楽の場としても使われました。現代では、温泉地や銭湯など、外で楽しむお風呂ばかりでなく、入浴剤や防水型のラジオ、お風呂用枕など家庭の内風呂を楽しむためのグッズも進化しています。

Japanese people are especially fond of baths in the world, and it is one of the Japanese cultures nurtured by the unique climate and natural features of Japan.

Since Japan is surrounded by the sea and has a lot of rain, it is said that if you live in a hot and humid environment, hot spring baths, or onsen bathing culture will become essential parts of the Japanese culture if you want to get relaxed more from the reality. Also, there are many hot spring resorts in Japan that are famous throughout the country. The water in hot springs must contain a certain amount of minerals and naturally-occurring chemicals to be considered onsen.
